Rosemarie Dombrowski, PhD, is the founder of Rinky Dink Press and merge poetry journal (2005-11), a poetry editor at Four Chambers, and the co-founder and host of the Phoenix Poetry Series as well as the monthly literary salon, Get Lit.
Her work has appeared/is forthcoming in Columbia Review, Hartskill Review, Stonecoast Review, Nano, Anthro/Poetics, The Review Review, and elsewhere. She has received four Pushcart nominations, was a finalist for the Pangea Poetry Prize in 2015, and was nominated for the Best of the Net Anthology in 2016. She became Phoenix’s inaugural poet laureate in December of 2016.
Her collections include The Book of Emergencies (Five Oaks Press, 2014) and The Philosophy of Unclean Things (Finishing Line Press, 2017).
Currently, she’s a Senior Lecturer at Arizona State University’s Downtown campus where she serves as the faculty editor of the undergraduate writing journal and teaches courses on radical poetics, women’s literature, and creative ethnography. Additionally, she serves as affiliate faculty of the Creative Writing program (Tempe campus) and teaches for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (Downtown campus).
